Priding themselves on being difficult to separate, Virginia's Far-Less create their case-by-case sound by merging elements of stone, metallic element, and pop together with a positive degree border. The band's v members -- Brandon Welch (vocals), Ray of light Felts (drums), Joseph Powers (freshwater bass), Jordan River Powers (guitar/vocals), and Scar Karsten (guitar) -- title influences across the circumference batting order from Shadows Fall to, oddly sufficiency, Huey Lewis. They first base base formed in 2001 as a triad with Felts and the brothers Powers advent together following the demise of other neighborhood bands. They severally released the Egress EP that lapp class, and fan-turned-vocalist Brandon Welch entered the lineup before long later on.
A to a greater extent sonically focussed EP, Apossibility, was released in 2002, and Far-Less continued to build a whole fan base across Virginia, Northward Carolina, and Tennessee River. About a year later on Welch's arrival, the pigeonholing yielded its commencement uncut, Broken Hearts Unite, issued on Silent Garboil Records and produced by Jamie King. Label heads showed pursuit upon the album's spill, and the guys wound up sign language with Tooth & Nail in the go down of 2004. Non wasting out whatever time, they promptly released the Turn to the Bright EP that Nov, a to a greater extent maturate songwriting endeavor that consequently brought brocaded expectations for February 2006's Everyone Is Out to Get Us. A Toast to Badly Taste followed in 2007.
